THE ROLE

Initio Capital is hiring a Angel Investor Scout to source and qualify founder prospects and schedule meetings with qualified candidates in San Francisco Bay Area. This is a remote independent contractor role.

This role does not involve soliciting investments, offering securities, or providing investment advice on Initio's behalf.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify founders and startups that match Initio's current qualification criteria.
• Conduct structured outreach and determine whether a prospect meets the role's qualification criteria.
• Secure the prospect's interest and schedule qualified meetings for the Initio team.
• Provide relevant, non-confidential context and maintain accurate pipeline records.
• Disclose investment interests and route securities, legal, tax, and investment questions to qualified professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as an angel investor, syndicate participant, former founder, startup advisor, or venture ecosystem professional.
• Active relationships in the local founder and investor community.
• Strong judgment, communication, respect for confidential information, and awareness of regulated investment activity.

SCHEDULE AND LOCATION

The work is remote and self-directed. The contractor is expected to develop relationships in the San Francisco Bay Area market and manage activity consistently.
